How to apply to Bond

Applying online to study at Bond University is free and easy. We encourage you to lodge your application as soon as you have decided what you would like to study. There’s no application fee – no obligation to accept a place if it is offered – it simply gives you another option when it comes to making a decision about your future.

Applying to study at Bond is easy! Applications for most Bond programs can be lodged at any time directly to the University. There is no application fee. Click here to apply.

You can submit your application to us directly. You will then receive an email from Bond University to confirm your application was successfully submitted.

The application review process will normally take two weeks provided all supporting documentation has been provided. If you are completing Year 12 in Australia this year, hold tight, we will be in touch when we can process your application and issue an offer. Offers for current Year 12 students will be made from early September.

You are two steps away from confirming your place at Bond. To accept your offer, all you need to do is log into our online application system and indicate your acceptance from the drop-down menu, and then pay the required fees as listed on your offer. Please contact your International Manager if you need assistance with making payment and accepting your offer.

Your first introduction to university life! Orientation is the perfect time to make new friends and find your way around the campus. The Orientation experience features an exciting program of social activities where you can relax and meet people, and there are lots of information hotspots to help you get ready for university life.

Visa and work

Bond has a strong contingent of international students, coming from over 90 countries. Our specialist International Student Team can help you manage any issues around your Student Visa.

You will need a Student Visa to study in Australia. You can only apply for your visa once you have been accepted to study at Bond – i.e. once you have received your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). We can guide you through the Visa application process. The Student Visa will allow you to enter Australia 4 months before your program begins and expires 2 months after it is complete. Your Student Visa allows you to work in Australia for a total of 40 hours per fortnight. The University’s Career Development Centre on campus can help you find jobs or internships (unpaid work, usually related to your field of study). You can also find local job listings at https://www.goldcoaststudentjobs.com.au/, www.seek.com.au and www.CareerOne.com.au. As a holiday destination, there are a lot of casual and part-time jobs available in the Gold Coast’s hospitality industry (restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.), particularly if you have experience in those areas.
